Ended up leaving in the middle of the night after discovering evidence of BED BUGS. The tall carpet was filthy, it obviously hadn't been cleaned in several years. There were several dead cockroaches and an infestation of spiders in the corners and underneath the bed. The bed sheets were an old floral pattern from the 1970s, which made it hard to see stains. We found a bunch of small blood stains despite the camouflage, this is a huge warning sign of bed bugs. The final straw was finding a dead cockroach carcass wedged in the carpet being feasted on by a bunch of smaller bugs which were presumably bed bugs. We did not stick around long enough to inspect any further, that is all I needed to see. No refund of course. There are Venezuelan prisons cleaner than this dump, do not stay here under any circumstances.
A bit pricey for what you get
Paid 65 dollars stayed at better for 50. Shower sprays a fine mist at 5 feet from the ground. Had to bend down the entire time. Gas heater smells like burnt plastic. Elecrtical outlet has no ground hole. Room key did not fit well. Bed was very very firm. Wifi so weak it was unusable and we were in the middle of the motel
The rooms and pool were very clean! There were lots of conveniences nearby (gas, Safeway, laundromat, Taco Bell, etc.). A great stopover and a good value for your money.
